Avenged.

The Avengers story I wrote a few years ago -Avengers as in John Steed and  not to be confused with  popular marvel comics  characters - I watched every episode binging on boxsets although by the end not sure I hit the right notes -very few Dr Keel episodes exist so it was hard to get a grasp of Ian Hendrys character -almost who's  Bond like by the finale not sure it was very Avengy lol -still but Hendry would of made a great JB after Connery - I love Avengerland  I would like it carry it kicking and screaming into the 21st Century-whilst thoroughly staying within the time frame of 1962-69  -heres my first attempt creating a mock trailer for a Avengers computer game  using SaintsRow 2 and the Third -not sure Igot the likenesses but had to do it as it was a idea squatting on my brain much like the following script  the Emma and Tara  trailers will appear at end of post.

John Steed:”But it’s the kind of attention you want  , your escapades in Cuba aren’t  going to generate much sympathy with my colleges  or for that matter Joe Public either”
Cathy Gale ”You know  at the time I fought for what was right , and  what was humanely  decent-but I  realise now I was naive ..”

John Steed:”This whole defection thing with Stern, was a ploy , they fed false information and instructed One-Ten that they’d only make the exchange if he was present , Stern and I daresay you Doc  were mere pawns in the game.”

Next "A Knights Tale"

All written as directions for me to illustrate-then I hit on the grande idea of using stills of the actual actors and  placing them in the setting if I could find the actual  places -I had a stab at it but not sure it worked out
here's the opening scene-I was going to feature Elvis as one of the G.I's  on the bridge
Did work on a second page then photoshop started acting funny  not sure I'll ever have the time to carry  on with this  seeing as  I'm very much a fulltime carer now - but I did make a start on follow up story which dealt more with  Emma Peel (Knight ) as it was before she got married and  her eventual meeting with  Honey West (may continue wrting this  story someday) but did do a trickle of pages before I closed Rumble  blog so this is a premiere lol

Steed and  Mrs Gale #2-  A  Knights Tale
                                Act 1:
Panel 1: The Avengers Logo (circa 1962/63)

Panel 2:

London Airport Heathrow ,July 1963 -A woman closely resembling Diana Rigg dressed head to toe in red leathers , sporting fashionable sunglasses waits for her luggage on a conveyor belt  to arrive , behind her a shifty looking man in a suit and a black polar neck- looking much like Ray McNally-this is mad genius Arcos- whilst the lady in red is Eliza Keel-Dr Keels estranged wife in Emma Knight guise, off panel a speech bubble appears.

Henry Burke: "This emergency meeting , couldn't happen at a worse time for you Miss Knight.

Panel 3:
Miss Knight(The future Emma Peel) dressed in 1963 fashionable attire-so looking quite different  to what you'd expect and her travelling companion Henry Burke (A more spruced up  than usual Harry H Corbett) walk by Keel and Arcos .
Emma Knight:"Oh I don't know Henry- could be a perfect oppotunity to show Daddy and Peter that I can handle myself  just as well on the international stage"

Panel 4:

Mrs Keel acts unconcerned her suitcase has arrived  but Arcos -glares at the two passers- by wide eyed(he's done a very good job replicating Emma) who have now moved to the left hand side of the panel seemingly oblivious to  the two eastern agents.

Henry Burke:"That may be so , but America's a awfully dangerous place-gun crazy by all accounts ..and I for one want to be there for your big day "
Emma Knight:" We'll be off the plane into  a car straight to the meeting -then back here tommorow-  like clockwork dear Henry"

Panel 5:
Henry and Emma carry on there chatter as they head for their flight

Eliza and Arcos also walk away from the conveyor belt carrying their cases .

Henry Burke:"Lets hope so.. 'ere you sure you haven't got a long lost sister?"

Emma: Knight "  Not to my knowledge -why pray tell?"

Arcos:"Remarkable  quite astonishing-don't you think?

Eliza Keel:" Da -a good likeness- Squadron Leader Peel provided you with all the righr references- "

Panel 6:
Emma and Henry turn around only to see  the conveyor belt as  Keel and Arcos are out off sight

Henry Burke:"Thought that woman in red we just passed  was a dead ringer for you your ladyship"

Emma Knight:" You haven't been raiding Daddies cellar again? naughty naughty.."

Got as far as page one -but who knows I would like to continue Emma's adventure in the U.S.A  at some point (perhaps I ignored the golden rule of  just setting story in the UK -but in the early episodes  Steed Keel King and Gale would go abroad  so  why not?-they are secret agents -that's what they do lol)

ok round  off with two more Avengers Row videos -homemade with a crappy camera- glad you can upload stuff directly from ps4 now and OBS (although I can't get it work just yet)- Another script is on the way for my Star Wars story I've been typing away at " A Old Threat" hopefully I'll post part 1 on The Fourth of  May
